PANTONE COLOUR OF THE 2020...
Classic blue, no. 19-4052
Colour design bods Pantone unveiled their 2020 colour of the year as "Classic Blue" no.19-4052. Described as "elegant in its simplicity", "reflective" and "an anchoring foundation". I love blue, but there are lovelier shades. I'm personally drawn toward deep blues with a high yellow and magenta concentration (happy hues).
That said, not many outside of the creative field knew what Pantone was when they first brought out “colour of the year”. Now relied on by everyone in the design industry, expect to see it show up in all manner of interiors and furnishings.
Like it or loathe it, remember Marsala (2015)... nothing more needs to be said!
