St Cross Wallpaper-Jade Black

    STORY

St Cross wallpaper in Jade Black was inspired by the ornate Gothic ironwork on one of the gates at St Cross College located on Oxford's famous St Giles'. Sitting in front of an ancient oak door, the scrollwork, sublime in its flaking grandeur is backed with industrial wire mesh, crudely positioned and screwed in place. What is so intriguing is how incongruously beautiful the two look together; the ornate melding with the industrial in a perfectly imperfect harmony.

There is a real three-dimensional depth to this pattern and a subtle palette of colour, with the jade and black yielding to delicate touches of brown, blue and darkest green.

The wallpaper is supplied in single rolls containing x4 drops to be fitted in sequence and half rolls containing x2 drops.
