    STORY

    The Damask pattern, first created more than a thousand years ago, has been featured in fabrics and paintings ever since, but appearing as wallpaper in the 16th century. Our Renaissance No.1 mural is a thoroughly modern take on the design, fusing the traditional with contemporary and layering pattern upon pattern. Moving through a palette of regal old gold to warm, uplifting mauve, a circular wave pattern weaves in and out running up to a bold damask pattern, multi-layered with a faded gold design and Klimt style swirling spirals.

    The mural is printed onto the most exquisite textured weave wallpaper reminiscent of fabric, and features a slight sheen to catch the light.

    This design is supplied as a mural, configured to your exact wall dimensions.
