I’m full of pride when I see how fantastic our practice looks.

"We are an independant family Opticians business in the heart of Chingford. In 2015 we decided on a practice refit - a well known optical refit company were used. It was awful-no customer service and at one point we had no communication with them for weeks on end. At that point we decided only to refit the front of our practice, to see if they would be up to the task when we needed the internal refit done. The work started, the workmanship was poor, we had days were no one turned up and we were extremely worried that we would not have been finished in time to open. So along came 2016 and we were incredibly nervous about allowing that company anywhere near the internal refit. We were considering not to do the internal refit at all. We thank our lucky stars that we had not given them the full job and only allowed them to do part of it!

Then heard about Colliss & Quinton through a colleague of mine. From the moment I spoke to Mandy I was at ease. We spoke for 45 minutes about my concerns and what we were looking for. Mandy and David then came for an initial visit, they spent three hours with us; talking about the layout of our practice, how we worked, taking numerous measurements, understanding the building, the structure and discussing our dream look. They promptly came back with 3 designs for our new look. Throughout this design process we were in constant communication unlike the previous company. Designs were tweaked and amended according to our needs as the clients. They both took the time to understand how we worked and listened. We had a budget in mind and Mandy and David accommodated this. Nothing was ever too much trouble. When we started the refit, Mandy and David were on site, the teams they used were trusted and it went smoothly. The work was completed on time for opening- with just a few tweaks that were needed post opening.

We are still in contact to date, about to start a new phase of works with them, and they are always there to give advice and help out with wear & tear repairs that we need. The comments we still get today about our practice are extremely positive. Our clients constantly compliment the workmanship and aesthetics of our practice. I’m full of pride when I see how fantastic it looks.
